i admit.
i have been putting off blogging cos i was too lazy to upload photos and add links and all..
and my entry just WOULDNT be the same without photos..
but all the same i STILL havent uploaded my photos haha and i'm using the school com now so all the more i cant add pics..there there i'll put a whole load of them the next entry..belated pictures. in the meantime.. two weeks back was Welfare Week over at dearest NTU..basically, the student union does stuff for the welfare of the student body..or something along those lines..
so we had a whole range of arcade games (totally FOC!!! whoo..) lining the walkway..sega rally, daytona, air hockey, house of the dead, parapara!! (hahahha you should have seen the people mann), puzzle bubble, yaderyader.. 
one word: FANTASTIC school has never been that fun..we'll be like playing and all..then suddenly we realise we are all late for lecture..sometimes we rush off, sometimes we dont.. haha they should have more of these..:) time crisis please!! we also had band visits!! ronin and the suns. wow. it was initially ronin and electrico, but for some reason electrico couldnt make it ( :( disappointed) and we were like..hmm the suns..the who?? (later i found out they were formerly known as the boredphucks..ahh that one i know..haha)and boy they were GOOD!! i prefered them to ronin hah. less heavy and noisy..but all the same..both bands were great.
unfortunately i think the crowd sucked. haha what else could you expect right..
firstly the location was terrible..they should have had it at the canteen where there were crowds but no...they held it at some obscure place in the middle of no where..thus the turnout wasnt huge..
and with a dismal turnout, you cant really expect to have a proper rock concert/gig feel..no one bopping around..plus the disgusting weather..hot and a relative humidity of like 80%..urgh. sticky shirts are a turn off..
and the worst thing that could happen man. after ronin's gig, there was a power outage! gosh. in the land of engineers you'd think that would be a fantastic time for the electrical engineers to shine..but nooooo it took so freaking long for them to get the power up and running that people got irritated and left..ah but my loyalty to local music gave me reason to stay and i was duly rewarded by a smashing good set..and PHOTOS!!!!! 
i dont know why there's that chunk of white background..but boy oh boy..preeesentinggggg miissstaa wayne thunder!! (aka wayne seah) and yours sincerely grinning like an idiot :) drummer of the suns..totally fab. and he's so cool!!!!! speaking of drummers..how come i havent seen the unexpected at wala? their drummer made it to cleo's 50 EBs but i've never seen him! but he has more of a cool-dude thing going on for him rather than hottie charm..hah. there are some pretty hot guys in the mag..girls go check it out! dont say i dont share da lurve ;) and levan wee (ronin's lead singer) and me! and sean (ronin guitarist) and seema (my friend) :) 
yay! the suns are performing at the esplanade, powersound stage, 7pm on 19 march. shout if you're going..i want to! but there's tennis..hmm maybe i'll go earlier or something..haha btw it's the suns last performance in singapore before they return to melbourne..so catch them if you can! ;)
