to die of a stingray barb seems hugely unbefitting for steve irwin to die.. i think he'd rather a croc chomp off his head..or a rhino gore him to death..or a lion rip him to shreds..i'd prefer those if i were him if i had to die by animals..maybe being swallowed by a whale or eaten by a school of pirahnas would have made for a more memorable death.. quite a pathetic way to die considering death by stingrays are extremely rare..we have lost yet another great entertainer and wildlife conservation advocate..our loss..australian tv's loss..at least he died doing what he enjoyed all these freak accidents make you treasure your life even more
cos life is so unpredictable
despite all the precautions taken against major disasters like wars, earthquakes, tsunamis, plane crashes and the like..who knows if you'll be bitten by a tiny dengue mosquito the next day and die cos you forgot to apply insect repellant..or you might choke on a fishball and pass on just like that. seriously you never will know what might happen. if we all knew when our hourglass would run out of sand, we'd be making all sorts of preparations towards that day..to make it a happy one, a one whereby you can move on at peace cos you know that you've no regrets and you righted all your wrongs best as you could. you probably would have done all that you wanted to ever try in your life, spoken all you've wanted to say, travelled the world, made preparations to see your family comfortably through the rest of their lives.. but what preparations have you done for yourself after you're gone? almost all religions believe that something happens to you after you die..be it going to a happy hunting ground or getting reincarnated, something happens to you after you die i know i'm going to heaven to be with my Lord Jesus Christ and it'll be a tad too late for i-told-you-so's cos only then will we find out who's right and wrong where would you rather be? are you assured of getting there?
